yes the lights are bad, I did do them a few months back but its just as bad again.
I am looking for new ones but the only place to get them for at a good price is the USA and they are left hand drive witch is no good in the UK. AUS is the only place but the price goes up.

And run away from those lights you posted.. You will be very disappointed in them lol

Im currently installing these. There are hacks to disable the LEDs if its too much for u.

My best advice, stay away from all aftermarket headlights! There are several aftermarket headlight cleaning kits, 3M makes one of the best! Have a body shop spray on a clear coat once they're clean which should last as long as you own this car, now you haven't wasted $$ on ineffective headlights!

$250 from ebay. Amazon and other sites sell the same thing for a lot more.

I just installed em today. Theyre made to be used with your original bulbs and ballasts but I prefer DDM, so I modded the headlight assemblies a bit to fit them in there. They look nice but Im gonna have to adjust my low beams slightly. Check out my build thread...I posted a pic in there after the install. Btw...u have 2 color options for the lights...black or chrome. I went with the chrome on mine.

I second the 3M sanding and polishing kits. I finished mine off with the UVL blocking clear coat kit from Sylvania. Well over a year later and the headlights on my coupe still look as good as when I finished them.

I have the same headlights as Scorpio. I bought the car like with these headlights thinking I could polish them up, but nooooo.

The plastic covers craze and crack internally, leading to a haze you can't remove with polishing - my headlights look like they're tinted white even after sanding and buffing. In addition one of the running lights went out (but the bulb is fine and the turn signals still work), and one of the halos works intermittently.
They're also terrible light output wise (especially with the crazing) and I've been though 3 cheap ballasts in a year and a half.

They're on the "cosmetic repair" list right after rust repair and front bumper respray.

They are worth buying IMO if your plan is to retrofit them and essentially use them for the shells. When you get crazing and/or permanent damage in 3-5 years, swap the internals to the new shells.

Hey, if it lasts me 3 years then Im satisfied lol.

Im pretty good at fixing things so that helps too.
