High rpm idle.

Black g35 coupe all stock with straight pipe
High rpm idle.
My idle is sitting a bit above 1000 maybe 1200 . What could this be ? I recently changed my spark plugs and coil on cylinder 5. Also cleaned my throttle while doing so. Any help? Engine light comes back to say “ idle air control valve” but cant find that on the car 🤦🏽*♂️ Please help!!

You probably have the 507 high idle code and it's due to moving your throttle boy valve. Look up "pedal dance". Then prepare to spend a long time yelling, cursing, and hoping it works.

You are going to have to do the idle speed relearn. Some say that it will eventually reset itself but that hasn't been my experience. I kept getting the P0507 code until I did the relearn about 7 times. Then it took and its been 650-700 every since (with AC on).
