P1564 Code
I installed a quick release steering wheel a couple weeks ago and today im throwing a p1564 code, i was wondering if the aftermarket steering wheel is the reason and if it is, what can i do about it? If not tbe sterring wheel then what couldve caused this, thank you!

I was popping this code on my nissan truck until I relocated the cruise controls after installing aftermarket wheel. I think the ECM checks the resistance at self-check/startup. If it doesn't get the right signal back, it throws this code. I decided to just relocate my controls in case I wanted to use them for long trips, but others delete the controls all together using resistors...which I cannot help with.
