Any suggestions on who to call for help finding car?
Any suggestions on who to call for help finding car?
I ordered my coupe back in December and they said delivery would be 3/1. No big deal, that's fine. It isn't here. I'm not really surprised. However, it is in the states somewhere (most likely at the port). My dealership says they can't find out when it will be released or why it is on hold. They have suspicions that it is b/c of a lack of XM radios. My dealer has XMs in stock that they could install, but they don't know why it's held. All they can tell me is that it should be here sometime before April 4.
I've now been renting a car for the last 6 weeks since this one was supposed to be arriving. Someone has to know something, but my dealership doesn't seem to know how to find out. I've already contacted Infiniti Consumer Affairs and they just called the dealership, so that wasn't much help. Anyone know how to get some information here?
Thanks,
Matt

Do you have a VIN # yet?
If not, call the dealer and ask for it.
If they can't come up with one, they don't have a car for you.
If they give you one, Send this guy a message and ask him to locate it for you.
Danny Mayer is extremely helpfull on Fresh Alloy.
He is the General Manager at Grubbs Infiniti in TX.
Good luck!

Exactly what gbest03 said. No VIN, no car. Maybe you can do an inventory search to see if the car you want is in stock somewhere. If so, take your deposit and go buy it elsewhere.
