Leaky valve cover

I bought a vq35de rev-up online for my car. Was said to be 100% and need nothing.

Showed up with 2 leaky valve covers and no coil packs.

Is is there any way I can easily verify if the valve covers on my old car are leaking without pulling off the upper intake?

any other suggestions?

this sucks guys

04 G35 Sedan performance package. 70k Eibach springs and sway bars. 19 inch wheels. Plenum spacer.
Pull the coil packs and look for oil leaking into the spark plug wells. Using a Gates gasket set with the cheap aftermarket valve covers is the inexpensive fix. Add a little gasket sealer per the service manual.
