Unhappy AT CHECK LIGHT 5AT 2006 Coupe !Help!

Specs:
2006 Infinti g35 coupe
Exhaust
CAI
Sound System installed.
Had the car for roughly 6months
Bought with 79k
now has 83,846k miles
i changed oil roughly 700miles ago.
Yet to check trans fluid.

Hello. Today in my car i had an issue with my AT CHECK light coming on. whilst in a parking lot i was with some friends and it began to pour down raining. it was tornado warnings so i needed to leave SOON whilst leaving i tapped the gas a bit hard and swang it sideways whilst in second gear around a turn. everything was fine until i did it once again fooling around while it was slightly raining. my then traction control light (VDC) came on as well as slip light, and A/T Check light were on until the car was shut off later. i then noticed it and the car actually cut off due to my battery terminal being loose. i assumed from side to side motions. after fixing and tightening the terminal i started the car and it was stuck in probably fourth or fifth gear, had absolutely no kick to it at allll. Was very slow the whole right home. A/T light being on from then until now (at home) and still is on. any way to fix this? or is the trans shot? what should i do. (was raining entire time) (Thursday july 18th 2019) i see where people have had the same issue in the rain and the light goes away next day, however im just concerned.

First I would disconnect battery for about 30 mins to see if it might reset the transmission ECU.

When you get to Nissan and have them check out your issues they may tell you that your AT fluid is in dire need of changing! In hot climates like Arizona or Ca., AT fluid should be changed once a year! Nissan recommends every 30K miles which might work in Canada, not in our southern states!

Update

Hey There! update for you guys! Trans fluid is good they say, the dealership themselves arent even able to figure my issue, they say i need to replace my entire trans, which is very expensive but i believe there is an alternative.

they scanned the car and got abs codes

c1109 (battery voltage out of range) (twice) My voltage was sitting at 14.4 though.

and

c1145 (Yaw rate sensor circuit fault)

any suggestions on what to do?

Is there any fuse for the abs i can pull to maybe temporarily fix the fail safe mode?

I would check the transmission ground located at the front top of the timing chain cover. There are two wires bolted to the timing cover with green screws, one of them is for the transmission. Take the bolt off, clean up all metal surfaces including the bolt, both sides of hte lug, the timing cover. Then apply a light coat of electrical anti-oxidation grease and bolt it back on.

Yaw sensor is an easy replacement, don't use an impact driver, don't mishandle/drop the sensor it's VERY delicate on the inside.

C1109 has nothing to do with the transmission, that's a power failure on the ABS controller. The TCM codes are probably intermittent and they would need to test drive until the vehicle is in limp mode and THEN scan for codes.

Here's the order I would tackle things.

1. If the battery is 5 years old replace it and thoroughly clean the cables. If less than 5 years then just thoroughly clean the cables and have the battery LOAD BANK TESTED, using a digital multimeter to read voltage is not how you test a battery.

2. Replace the yaw sensor.

My guess is that will correct both those codes then you can focus on the transmission, however those two systems can both limp mode the car so I suspect that's the actual problem.
