Any G owners have experience with QuickJack?

I am debating buying a quickjack to make working on the G much easier, and was wondering if anyone on this forum has any direct experience with them? I see they are made by Bendpak so I am confident in the quality, and overall the rating seems to be very positive online.

I found a video on youtube which shows a G37 being lifted, and I must admit I was impressed with the amount of clearance under car it provides. (sorry cant post link right now, Youtube is blocked at my work - but typing G35 quickjack in google should get you the matching video.

Thanks in advance for the advice / experiences

We have the Maxxjaxx 2 post 48" lift in our home and it's done amazingly well over the years. Used to lift my G a few times.

yeah I'm a year or two away from building the shop of my dreams, and then Ill have a 2-post asymmetrical lift. For now, I figured this is a good stop-gap until I build the shop.

Im 41 now and getting tired of crawling around on cold concrete floors..LOL

I second the Danmar Maxjax because it's a very low profile and is storeable, never used one of those other style but I've seen mobile mechanics use them and the seem to do reasonably well.

Obviously you're not going to be pulling a transmission with one of those things, clearance is definitely limited. I imagine it would be ok for replacing exhaust components, changing tires, changing fluids, smaller work type-stuff.

Yup that's exactly right... I am lowering the car and have adjustable control arms / rods etc to do on all 4 corners... will also change the rest of bushings that didnt come with control arms etc...

This way I can also leave it up un air over winter ( when I park it ) and do the seasonal oil change etc while it's in air...

My dad will surely make good use if it swapping summer / winter tires as well on his rdx

Wow those Danmars are slick lifts for sure....

Just placed my order for quickjack through Costco Canada... 1200 canadian so roughly 900 us... pretty good bang for the buck ( I hope)

Well it arrived and it's all set up and works great... to be honest it exceeded my expectations

I am impressed with how much room it provides under the G...

Looks sweet! And not that one needs it to do it, but doing one brake job yourself vs the shop justifies the expense.

Yup, and the fact I am doing suspension work on all 4 corners (shocks, springs, control arms, bushings) once I park it for winter... im actually looking for reasons to use it LOL

Very nice and simple. May want to still use jack stands if possible.
