Talked to my dealer yesterday and he said they were not taking anymore orders for 2003 G35 coupes, instead they will start taking orders in June for 2004 models. He said no siginifcant changes.....just the Twilight Blue color that was already discussed and he stated that he believed that in November orders would be taken for an AWD model......but with a premium (price increase).

Good, I'm probably going to order a 2004 G35 6MT, hopefully they probably got most of the kinks out of the G35C 6MT tranny.

 

Did he also say anything about a possible price mark up on the G coupe? particularly the 6mt seeing as how they are in such highhhhhh demand (selling like HOT CAKES for GOODNESS SAKE!)??

 

I went to two dealerships one which said that they dont take orders and another that said my order will come in june . The first dealership also told me that the 2004 prices will go up.

 

I'll believe that the Coupe is getting AWD when I see it from Infiniti - not from anyone else, including their dealers. I'd bet most of the people on this forum (certain exclusions apply) know more about the G35's than the dealers do.

The dealers who participate in the freshalloy forum have made clear that this is not true. The June allocation period will be for 2003 models, and possibly July as well.

 

Actually mcleo19, the guys at freshalloy have since changed their stance.

dfw_Infiniti who regularly posts at freshalloy has confirmed that indeed all 2003 orders are now over and that if you order in June you will be receiving the 2004s. Also, since it is a model year change-over there will be no price protection (there are rumors that the 2004s will go up in price).
