Angry Any recommendation

Hey guys, about a year ago I bought these cheap coilovers for my 06 MT g35 coupe.

https://www.carid.com/truhart/street...specifications

After first installing them I had added too much preload and drove on them for a while and now they squeak over bumps in the road and are terrible. I went to remove preload today and the springs are stuck being as compressed as they are and don';t give anymore give.

Is it possible to just buy new springs from a different company and put them on the coilover assembly to fix the problem or do I have to buy new coilovers?

Don't waste your time or money trying to just replace the springs. You'll still have crappy coilovers so I would suggest getting a better quality set.

As for the answer to your question, yes you should be able to just buy another set of springs with the same diameter and overall height and swap them.

Don't sink any more money into a bad product. Look for some used coils on facebook marketplace and once in a while on these boards. I would also check 350z boards, there is more action there and the coils will fit the G.
