hey everyone my engine started rattling lately and i have no idea what it is, i recently changed my oil hoping the noise would stop but it hasn’t, when i rev the rattling gets louder. i post a link to a video. any ideas please help!!!

Sounds like a rod knock. Sorry bro

 

Noise at idle is fine, sounds like both the G35's I've had
When reving, that sounds similar to, if not, rod knock. Could also be exhaust related, I had a catalytic converter fail on an old Accord that sound like a rod knock.

 

I had that exact same noise. Doesn't seem like a rod knock to me but I've always figured it was an issue with the timing chain guide due to a lack of oil pressure in the tensioner. I've yet to open up my older engine and check it out but I'll update here as soon as I get to that.

May not be the same exact case, but the throttle response on my G coupe significantly lowered and power was almost completely lost the last time I drove with the old engine. I'll post a video of what happened about a month and a half after I noticed the noise.

 

I know that sound. Unfortunately it's rod knock. Mines sounded the exact same way.
