Ok so my g35 started making this loud rattle noise at random times and idk what it is. The vdc off slip and abs lights are on. And I was told it was the abs pump at first and if I cut the two abs bridges on the abs and ignition fuse that it would temporarily fix the problem at least but the noise still comes on at least when I push these defroster button right here still. Soo old I’m lost

 

Does it only come on when u turn the AC on?

 

no tht just makes it kick on instantly it seems. It still kicks on off an on while driving

 

does it make noise even when the engine is off? Have u listened to see where the noise is coming from approximately?

 

yes it does happen sometimes when the car keeps running and or making noise when key is out of ignition and doesn’t turn off until I turn my headlights out. And I can’t rly tell where it coming from but I wanna say more toward front of engine.

 

Sounds like the cooling fan blade is hitting something. When you turn on defrost it kicks on the AC which turns on the cooling fan.
