Rev up to de
Rev up to de
So recently I purchased a blown motor g35. At the moment it’s got a rev up engine but the rev up engines are a lot more expensive than the typical de. I’m just looking for looks with the build so I don’t care about the power. Is it possible to swap the regular 2003 de engine into my rev up car? What would I need to swap? Thanks! 05 g35 6mt coupe.

If the heads are still good you can move the Rev-up heads to the DE block. If not you are going to need a ecu and harness with matching bcm and keys for the regular DE setup.
The short block is the same, just rebuild your engine or like Scumbag said, buy a used non-rev and only use the long block (minus the oil pump, you need the rev-up oil pump).
so if i was to buy a de motor and swap ever the rev up heads from my current rev up motor to my new de i would have to do anything else? all plug and play after that?
