2005 G35 Coupe loaded but bone stock!
The BEST Junkyard Find Today!!!

So I stopped by a local bone yard today to browse for G35s, not thinking I would find any, especially a coupe.

To my pleasant surprise, I found 3 G35 sedans, one matching my color inside and out, then.... I saw a coupe!

Now this is the crazy part - the main things I am needing for my car right now are a Y pipe, front brake solenoid or valve body, and I wanted to find a oem coupe spoiler and some misc interior pieces.

This car Is sitting there waiting for me - OEM spoiler in perfect condition - jacked up, trans pan off ready for me to take the solenoid or vb - Y pipe ready unbolted from the front pipes. I couldn't believe it.

NOW the best part....

Price for this OEM coupe spoiler mint?

$22.99

😆😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣😎😎😎😎😍😍😍🤩🤩🤗🤗🤗

Hell yeah lol. I was expecting 100 bucks, when he said 23$ I damn near sprinted back to that car to get it off lol.

So I was going to catback for the car since my factory Y is leaking anyway, but I may just use this stock one now and wait.

18$ for the Y in pretty darn good shape, 100 to install at a local shop. I may try to do it myself tho. Going to have to cut the hardware it's too rusted so I was kinda like ehh maybe I'll pay the 100 to just have the shop do it.

That's a good deal! You can't beat grabbing parts at the upull and installing them yourself.

I go to the U-Pull yards quite a bit in the summertime just to flip stuff. I picked up a BMW wing that looked really cool and when I got home I found that it was a special aftermarket piece. I ended up getting $250 for it. Found a rebuilt set of Brembos for my SR20 car there last summer too. If you have a good eye and memory for certain things you can make a few bucks. Headlights and a polish / clearcoat can make a couple hundred bux in a weekend too. Other things can burn you like ECU's since they cost $40 and you have to pull them vs getting them online for $25-$35 shipped to your door. It's nice if you have a good phone connection for internet to search parts before you buy.

New to me G35 in need of some tlc.
Does the coupe have the Brembos? I’d def grab those and resell if it does. That or a drivers seat without a tear in the side bolster😁

Disassemble the seat and take the lower cover/cushion. Easy to ship. In fact depending on the shipping cost I would consider buying it. 🤔

I'll check on it tomorrow for you when I go to finish removing the spoiler ect. I wasnt equipped properly today for it. I thought it would unbolt and i would be able to pull it from the trunk, separating the double sided tape. Hell no. It's such a pita to remove the oe spoiler I am bringing a putty knife for the tape and all my tools tomorrow lol.

I'll take pics ofpics and post em for you tomorrow.

Oh and I found out by doing a quick search, only the 6mt cars had the brembos 03-04 and they are hella noticable. Big gold calipers. This car was auto.

The Brembos I found were remanufactured so they were just plain dirty aluminum. Pretty sure that's why nobody noticed them.
