Hi, I dont know if this is the correct forum for this.

I have a contact at Induction Motorsports (they usually do Supras). He has offered me a group buy on the HKS Hi-Power TI which is normally for $1800.00. He originally offered me $1400 shipped (since the supplier is in TX where I live shipping is $40), but I asked him about group buy since I know several guys have contacted me via pm.

Group Buy Terms: If I can get an accurate headcount of anyone who would be interested, then the exhaust would be $1360 or lower (depending on #people) + the actual shipping costs to your destination. <So if you live in Hawaii obviously it would be more expensive than if you lived in TX due to shipping costs>

The second one, which I think you're referring to, is listed on intensepower.com for $1399+shipping. hopupracing.com is $1489 with free shipping and will match lowest advertised price. Bulletproof is $1402 +shipping but will also price match.

I would be interested if the discount was good, but the above listed vendors will price match pretty well. If your group buy was for the Ti setup from japan from the first link i posted, that's another story....

Wow, I did not know there were 2 of them. Ill find out how much the more expensive one is.

 

I'm in Texas as well... if this shop is in Texas, isn't sales tax going to have have to be charged though? Another +8.25% on top of the 1380 in addition to the shipping costs could make this deal cost prohibitive.

Also, I'm wondering about the description on the Hi-Power from DocRon's link.... says that the system is full dual but the kit includes a Y-Pipe? Am I missing something here, or is this a typo on the Bulletproof site? I've put out a few emails trying to find this at the cheapest to-my-door cost as well, so I'd hate to be suprised by the Hi-Power not being what I had expected.

Induction Motorsports is not in Texas. His distributor is in Texas. Therefore I am not getting charged sales tax.

i can get it locally for 1400 with out a group buy...not a deal but a fair price for it
