blue looks better thats it. My friend has it and thats all it is. I read from the official Passport site (FAQ section) that blue leds are more expensive, therefore, the diff in cost.

according to them at Passport... they say its the leds cost, obviously, thats BS. But yeah if u wan the blue you have to put the green lol.

Just FYI if you decide to get the passport 8500x50, the "Pop" mode feature is OFF by default. So be sure to enable it when you set it up...

Does anyone know if there is a way to "upgrade" a regular 8500 (non X50) to include the latest and greatest features including the POP mode, and what's involved?
