So I bought my 04 G35 about 1month and a half ago. It had issues from the jump but they were manageable. It had a muffler delete on it at first but I got a new exhaust system from my Catalytic converter back with a brand new muffler ($1200.00). Since then I have an electrical problem where if I leave anything on for just 2 seconds after I turn the car off, it needs to be jumped to start back running. I also think that I have a leak somewhere. I put 20 dollars of 93 in my caR regularly and it will run out in 2 days (I dont drive the car too hard but I do drive nearly 100 miles a day.) The car has a VERY LOUD lifter tick. I put seafoam engine treatment in it on my first oil change and on my top offs every 1000 mileS (1quart). I was recently told that I had a manifold leak and I dont even know how long its been that way. The car rubs a bit so now I think that the suspension, rotors are off. The wheels are stock. It has brembo brakes with high performance rotors (dont know the brand of the rotors yet). I cant ever explain whats going on with my fluids on the car. But according to the pics Im posting. Its bad bad!! Do I need to trash this car, and part it out, or does she still have a chance? I really need help and Im really stressed out right now. Anyone, please help me

It is a little late now but you should have had the vehicle inspected prior to your purchase at your local Infiniti dealer to get an idea of what the vehicle required?
You can either keep pouring money into a almost seventeen year old vehicle that most likely has many parts that are at or near end of life or you can just kiss the $$$ that you've already spent as an expensive automotive educational experience.
Good luck whatever you decide

Sounds like too many major problems and a lotta money if you cant troubleshoot and fix the issues yourself. Either sell it for a loss or part it out.
Nissan quality sucks btw 🙂

The fact that you even made this thread questioning whether to keep the car or NOT pretty much answers how you feel about it. If you aren't significantly attached to the car then you probably shouldnt start dumping money into a 16 year old car.
Plenty of dealership discounts out there right now on new cars that have a warranty.

Not sure why you are having so many problems. I have my 04 coupe still... 108,000 miles or so and only major thing I have done on in it this whole time is new valve covers and gaskets a few months ago in the fall. Just brakes/ rotors and fluid changes and I think 2 batteries in all these years. Only you can make the choice... not sure how many miles you have but I am as happy as can be the car. I would love an iPace but Jaguar is not known for being the best brands out there.. I will definitely try sticking with Infiniti/ Nissan if I can. I don't think you made a horrible choice and 20 bucks in gas is what 10 gallons? you're driving 200 miles, that's about 20 miles to a gallon you are getting. That seems right on par with this car and most.

Is it a 6 speed sport coupe? If so keep it and work out the issues. If not, I would have to consider saying goodbye to it.

Lol 20 bucks of gas ain't gonna last you long. I get maybeeeee 300 miles on a tank in the city. The rest of the issues seem legit but if you're driving 100 miles a day I wouldn't expect gas to go very far

You cant drive 100 miles a day and possibly maintain that car even if it was in good condition.
Get a reliable 4 cylinder FWD and let go of that car.
Between gasoline, oil, and tires, you will spend a lot if you keep that car.
