My local dealer has a 6MT Obsidian/Graphite with Aero and Navi. He said that he sold it to a young doctor three months ago. Apparently he's selling it back to the dealer because he's taking up residency in downtown Chicago and won't need the car. He said it has 2600 mi. on it and he'd give it to me for 1K off MSRP. I'm having trouble deciding. I don't think 1K is enough discount for a car that I can't be sure was broken in correctly.

 

Not good enough! Once that car was driven off the lot it lost atleast 10% of it's value. Tell the dealer you'll buy the car for 4K off MSRP. And you wanted him to pay to have it inspected throughly. If he can't do that then walk........besides, who in thier right mind would buy a used G35 coupe for 1k below MSRP when you can buy a new one for MSRP???!!! [img]/w3timages/icons/mad.gif[/img]

Since the coupes are in high demand it doesn’t depreciate at a normal rate as other cars so be prepared to pay near MSRP on a used low mileage one. You’d have to wait a while if you order a new one to your specifications. And someone here said that they aren’t taking any 2003 coupe orders so you’d have to wait till the end of the year at the earliest to get one. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’d already sold that coupe to someone that is inpatient and just wants to get one.

 

Bad offer, don't do it. I got a new coupe for 900 below MSRP. Ask for more

I would either get way more off ... or a full extended warranty from them thrown in ...aluminum pedals, tint, chrome rims, oil changes for a year and a full body massage.

go get it man if you want it and sell it in couple years .... who cares how it was broken in, I hate this break in period garbage...this car wants to boogie man !!

I thought about it, and I think I'd rather have brand new. I'm just going to sell my car instead of trading it in and buy a beater that will also serve as my snow vehicle when I do get the G. I think I'm going to go with DG/G, Navi, 6MT, Prem, but I'm not a biig fan of the spoiler. I really wish you could get the underbody aero without the rear spoiler.

I thought you COULD get the underbody kit without the Aero pkg. It's a $600 option when you order the vehicle, and then they install it at port. I don't know when you are planning to buy your G, but I'm getting mine this weekend and I'm removing the Aero kit and selling it (it's Diamond Graphite). It's in the Classified parts section if you're interested.
