High pitch noise under G35
High pitch noise under G35
Hey Everyone,
I started a thread on this already but not sure I posted it where I want. I’m a new G owner and purchased a 07 coupe about a month ago. I started noticing this very high pitched noise coming from under car which seems to be around the rear wheels. The noise isn’t that concerning but it’s definitely annoying and I want to get rid of it. It seems to be the loudest during a cold start in the morning and it doesn’t seem to go away until the weather is actually warm, the noise is still present even after I drive to work in the mornings. However the noise fades away during the middle of the day when it’s warmer. Any idea what this could be? I had two mechanics tell me it was the fuel pump so I went ahead and replaced it. It wasn’t cheap and it did not cure this high pitched noise, is this noise normal? Anybody else have an idea or have experienced this before?

Wow a turbine powered G35!!! ☺️
The only thing around there that could make noise is the fuel pump, the exhaust, or differential. But the differential wont make noise unless the car is moving. And since u alreqdy replaced the fuel pump, then its probably an exhaust leak. Get under the car and listen to where its comin from.
