this morning I went to town my car started and ran great we even spanked a mustang GT!! U heard nothing out of the ordinary nor did she preform remotely different. I get home and park go in for several hours and then try to leave and it won't start????? All it does is crank over...I checked all fuses and relays and they checked out. Compression is perfectand its getting fire....only difference in this morning and now is that the black plastic off of my key is gone does anyone have any idea what us going on here?????

 

That black plastic contains the chip which gets sensed by the ECU lol. It aint gonna start without it.

Yeah, modern cars have a transponder in the plastic portion of the key in it. Without it, the car will typically just crank over without starting.
