p0128 assistance

p0128 back with a "1st trip" p0011
the low down:

did a valve cover gasket job on bank 2(drivers) removed the vtc solenoid valve (thingy lol) and replaced and torqued back on finished the job etc.
i also drained annd bled the coolant to try and rid myself of the p0128- maybe it had low coolant as the resivoir was empty- not an odd occurance on my g as the rad is cracked ever so slightly...woont drip but she does lose coolant..
head gasket? but no odd smoke or funny oil or bubbling radiator...now I do have the mishimoto thermostat which opens like 14degrees celcius colder... could this be the p0128? ( coolant temp lowwer than thermostat) could this be tuned out? or do they make a colder temp sensor?
I don't want to go out and but a new temp sensor for nothin...
drove about 50 miles after finishing the valve cover and coolant and the p0128 came back with a p0011 as a "1st trip"
any ideas or tips I'm brain farting so hard on this one

and another thing- my valve cover job is holding up great- no drips or leaks but the dam pcv hose that connects the 2 valve covers sprays a light coat of oil alll under my intake plenum...does a catch can kit remove this issue?
thanks gents

For some reason the factory doesn't put hose clamps on that pcv hose connecting the two VC's, just put clamps on it. However you may have some kind of blockage in the PCV system preventing airflow and building up pressure so I would shoot compressed air through everything and make sure nothing is gunked up.

As for the P0011, lots of reasons this can pop up. Did this exist BEFORE you removed the solenoid?

P0128 is usually caused by a thermostat that's stuck open, however you replaced with another thermostat which should have corrected the problem, if it STILL exists, and you are consuming coolant, that makes me think there's a leak in the system. Pressure test the coolant system.

Your temp gauge does appear to be working correctly yes? When it's up to operating temp it's basically just below the middle of the gauge?

Here is where the temp gauge should be at operating temp, ignore my CEL, damned fuel pump float broke last week right after I filled up the tank... nice and smoky out here on the west coast.

sorry for the delay just got done buying a 2021 tahoe!
but to the g,
no I didn't havve a p0011 before I removed the solenoid (I removed the drive side bank 2)
and the p0011 is for bannk1...
reset codes and drove to work(7 miles 1 way)
again I got home and the idle was sstumblling almost like a misfire..and p0021 or 22 popped ( now no p0011) annd I can audibly hear the timing chain on idle and revs...and on startup and shutoff I hear the chain "slapping or slloshhing"
annd as far as leaks my rad is stock and seeps coolant through the top of rad between metal annd plastic...but it doesn't puddle pool or drip...almost seems like just loss of cooolannt due to evapp....I'm 90% sure it's not my headgasket

i spoke to the tuner and mishimoto- both say I need to tune ecu to see that the new thermostat temp is normally or it'll keep popping.

so I need a new rad...new fan( cuz mine never worked)..new timing....

now my next question is...get ready lol...
i plan on a vhr swap in the future\near future- anyone got a 100% thread for a 04 G35 manual to a 09+ manually vhr swap
my plan is to get the g running and tuned as is and buy the vhr and cd009 trans with ecu and all the goodies and build the motor till my de pops... then go boosted performance ...end goal of like 750whp
