Should I buy a 2007 g35 coupe with a broken head gasket???
I am looking to buy a g35 coupe and have had trouble finding one that is in good condition under my budget of $5000. I found one where the seller is asking for $2300 for a 2007 G35 that's interior is very good except for the classic seat rip on the passenger side and the exterior is perfect but sadly without the spoiler. The ac doesn't work and there is a sequel when you start it due to a broken pulley, it seems Id be able to do an engine swap with the same v6 for around $3000 including the labor which is doable with my current budget. The car is also fully straight piped, lowered on Raceland coilovers, test pipes, intake, and has aftermarket adjustable toe and camber arms which seems like a bargain in my book because I was already planning on half of those mods. Is this a good deal if I do the engine swap since the car is in very good condition inside and out along with the mods?
Is it a 5AT or a 6MT, they come with different engines, and the "rev-up" in the 6MT is significantly more expensive.
Since it sounds like you're on a limited budget I think you're making a huge mistake buying a luxury sports car, luxury = money, sports car = money. Paying labor hours for a shop to do all the maintenance/repairs on your car is going to be a deal breaker.

Are you really asking about an engine swap for bad AC and needing a belt and tensioner pulley? The car sounds like a good deal, but not if you're going to be paying people to do things especially simple ones like that
