Driver side front window adjustment

I am about to give up on this. I have tried to adjust the regulator mounting bolts and nothing is bringing my glass in flush with the seal.

Does anybody have any advice on what I might try? I’m wondering if it is not fixable?

see second pic below; I was able to get it better, but still not totally flush and is not even with the rear window glass.

Are you sure the rear glass hasn't been replaced in the past and might have been set too deep?

Directions for adjusting window angle are in the FSM, section GW - Glass/Windows.

https://www.nicoclub.com/infiniti-service-manuals

You do have to loosen all the guide rail and regulator bolts BEFORE you make adjustment to the window angle or you won't have enough adjustment range.

Thanks Cleric. Can all those bolts be accessed without taking the steel panel off? I'm not quite sure which bolts are for the guide rail. Can anyone give me a picture? I wasn't clear from the FSM.

The infiniti dealer quoted me $150-200 for them to adjust the window. Who else would be knowlwdgable of how to perform this adjustment? body shop, nissan dealer, etc.?

Yes the metal interior cover panel needs to be removed, it's simple, just a flange of bolts.

Ahhh. Thanks Cleric. The only bolts I loosened were those that I could access without taking off the steel cover panel. Maybe there is more adjustment that can be made! The only tilt adjustments I made were using the slotted stud bolts with the lock nuts. Any idea who could do this besides an Infiniti dealer that might be less expensive?

It looks like you're half-way there already. Just go watch a few youtube videos on coupe window motor replacements. It should help out with what isn't clear in the FSM.
