2005 G35 Coupe bike rack?
2005 G35 Coupe bike rack?
Before you flame me, I'm going to uni soon and the main form of transport across campus is via bike. Plan is to take my car to the parking structure, and then use my bike from there (will probably be lugging around a friend's as well).
Question is, where do I even get a bike rack for this thing? Tried looking and can't find a straightforward answer anywhere.

Hook up a hitch... it is fairly easy to do ... Pick a class 2 (double check me on that) and take off your back bumper and attach it. Directions are on here. Then you can pick a bike rack you like... It's pretty simple. You just need a few tools and a drill bit to cut through the steel (cost you about $15 for the drill bit). Give yourself 3 hours from tear down to cleanup if that to do.
Will probs just take wheels off and shove the frames in the trunk worst comes to worst, but I feel like a bike rack would be much much much more convenient

My 2 cents would be to avoid the trunk mounted style as shown in cleric's second link. I have a slight indent on the back of my trunk lid from using one of those years ago.
I'd be surprised if you could fit even just the frame in the coupe trunk, even with the seats down.

If not your car, what about the bike getting scratched up. Its so easy to mount a hitch on the back and just plug in a hitch. Saves your car and bike from getting mangled or dirty. I mean its your car, just the hitch route is very easy to do. Its not as intimidating as it might sound. A few fasteners to pop off the bumper...A drill, pop on the hitch and then just plug and play a rack.

Not sure about visibility issues but I did have one on a prior car and the trunk mount ones just suck from what I found. They shift and slide and are just a total waste from my experience.
