Hey everyone, i have an infiniti G35 2006 coupe that I'm having problems with. I recently did the whole front suspension. I'm talking about upper/lower control arms, lower ball joint, compression rod, sway bar bushings, sway bar end links, strut assembly/springs.

Everything felt great and drove like new, but a month later after all the rain i noticed a strange pop noise like metal to metal pop. Kinda like a clunk but it pops instead. I've gotten new lower control arms and sway bar links, pop got better but did not go away. I've been to two different shops and they can't find what's wrong.

Does anybody know what it is?? It's only on the driver side too, i can feel the pop in my floorboard or pedal sometimes. Now this noise only happens when I'm going over a big speed bump, brake hard, or reverse while Turing the wheel all the way to the right.

I think it could be my upper control arms because i bought some really cheap ones to fix the camber that are adjustable but i don't know, it feels like it would be somewhere below the upper arms.

If anyone could help me i would gladly appreciate it, been dealing with this for weeks now

 

Get the car up on jackstands and replicate the problem. There's not really a whole lot we can do over the internet for this issue.
