Infinti G35 2003
Question G35 Best Exhaust Options?

I got a 2003 Infinti G35 Coupe
I am looking for recommendations for exhaust options for my situation. I am a senior in high school that lives in the suburbs. I am trying to find a exhaust that sounds good and aggressive. This is also my only car to drive so i dont want to get a exhaust that is constantly super loud that it will get my parents and neighbors mad. I have been looking at options for the past couple weeks and like the sound of the Tomei a lot. My one concern about this is how loud it is, since there seems to be a lot of people that say it's too loud. It's hard to judge off videos and often many of them have art pipes or test pipes that make it louder. If i got it I probably couldn't afford a new y pipe so it would be stock cats and every thing with the tomei. I dont know if this sounds good still and or is really loud. I also am not set on getting a tomei I have looked at other options like the HKS Hi-Power or the NVIDIA Gemini. I also do like the shock wave but i am not made of money working minim wage. I want to spend around $1,000 and I know the HKS is like 1,300. But with the HKS i dont know if it will sound good without like test pipes. Also some people say the H pipe on it is bad and getting a x pipe or anything else would probably cost too much for me. I have not looked too much into NVIDIA Gemini but it seems kinda quit I think. It's really hard to judge sound off videos.

So if anyone has any commits or advice for which route to take it is much appricated.
I just want a nice exhaust I can have fun with without being that guy with the super loud exhaust.

My advice, spend the money on high flow cats instead. That's the most restricting part of the exhaust so you will get the highest power gains as well as a fairly significant increase in decibels without being obnoxious.

The stock coupe exhaust sounds amazing, I had a true dual and actually went back to stock because everything else kills that exotic sound the coupe have stock and will be VERY loud at full throttle.

The Fast Intentions resonated HFC's are fantastic, and if you do end up with some drone or unwanted rasp you have enough money leftover to pay a local muffler shop to put a resonator in the midpipe if you need to.
