good time to buy a g35?

hey you guys, i currently have a 2004 IS300 and i want to sell it and get a G35C. lexus has recently unveiled the new IS and i personally dont like it. and because a new model has just come out for hte IS, i feel that my model's pretty old even though it's only like 1 year old. but anyhow, i was just wondering if there's any news of a remodeling of the G35. i dont want to buy one and a new one comes out the next year ya know. but yeah, thanks for any input.

Probably won't be a remodeling until 07...Atleast thats what most of us here believe...And even when they do remodel I doubt they'll complete ditch the current design, its just too beautiful and has been to big of a success to do so...G'luck, its always the right time to buy a G...

I doubt they are changing in '06 no way. I put money on it. Get the '05 coupe man you will love the new interior and seats in it, its like night and day from '04 to '05. Interior is "Tight to Death"

Where did you hear there are doing any major changes to the 2006 G35? I would love to see a 300HP engine in the 5A. I would even love to see a 6A! Maybe I'll see it in the next generation.

i'm gonna be mad if they do change the 2006 coupe. man i just got my 05. i'll bet on that as well.

ya i agree the new IS is butt ugly. New IS = 4-door Scion tC. i'm not sure what the new 2 door coupe will look like. IMO Toyota and Lexus has lost their sense of design. my family and I personally love Toyota, but again they've lost their touch.

wienstine - are you planning on buying the MT or AT?

Its highly doubtful that infiniti will redesign the G35 by 06. Most japanese car manufacturers go by a 4-5 year life cycle. Since this current v35 platform was released in 03, there should still be an 06 model. Also, the g35 would most likely get redesigned with the release of the GT-R which means 2007
