LW Flywheel Identification

Hi all,
I recently picked up this flywheel. I will be needing a new clutch soon and like the idea of a lighter flywheel for revs and performance.
My questions are:
1) Can anyone identify the brand on this? It appears to be in the 17lb range
2) Can this be resurfaced?
3) Is there any reason I will regret doing this. A clutch job is a lot of labor and I'd be disappointed if I installed it and disliked the feeling of it.

Thanks in advance!

Based on look and weight I'd say that's a stock flywheel

It's def a single mass, not dual, like OEM.

sorry for the bad answer..I have the same one so I assumed it was stock since there was nothing fancy about the rolling chassis I picked up.

Look for any laser engravings around the bolt pattern, that's usually where a manufacturer's part number will be located.

As for resurfacing, you might be able to, call around to a local machine shop and have them give you a quote and look at it. I can't tell from the tiny thumbnail picture you posted but it looks like it might have a lot of hot spots on it.

Here are some better pics of the flywheel. I see no stamping on it.

I also got this clutch disk for free from a guy locally.
I notice it has 6 springs. I tend to see more 4 spring units.

I wonder what I have here and if it is a fit for me with this flywheel...assuming it can be resurfaced.
What is the difference between 4 & 6 spring clutches? Are the 6 spring Heavy Duty clutches?

You'll have to see if the spline fits the input shaft but my quick google search shows that clutch is for a Frontier or 300ZX.

4 or 6 spring just depends on how the manufacturer made the clutch, the dimensions of the main hub usually determines how many springs are needed.
