I have put together 5 dyno runs using the monte gtr programmer that I have had for over 6 months. My next tune will be the uprev ecu tune from Z1 to get the most out of my aftermarket parts. Please understand that the base run was done with the following parts already installed. Cold air intake, 75mm throttle body, plenum spacer, resonated test pipes, rev9 exhaust, and sprint boost all purchased through Z1. I will upload the dyno runs all together instead of sending all 5 sheets. I will do my best to explain each run. Base run was done with the sprint booster off and all parts (244hp@6437rpm / 230ftlb@3950rpm. The next run was using my Hypertech programmer. It only allows you to add the use of a cold air intake. Results were as followed (258hp@6400rpm / 238ftlb@5462rpm sprint booster on max. Two runs back to back with the monte programmer in sport max and sprint booster in max (260hp@6587rpm / 243ftlb@4112rpm and (261hp@6400rpm / 249ftlb@5600rpm. the last run was done with the sprint booster in max, monte programmer in race max. Result (266hp@6625rpm / 240ftlb@5337rpm. All runs done in second gear to red line. While the gains weren't big it does show increases from each tune. The most benefit of the programmer is the use of the dyno because we all know how expensive it could be. I will also be able to send Z1 a data log so they can see what the car is doing. I hope this information helps any tuning questions.
No sir. This is the power meter dyno. The 0-100 test should allow it. That's what I will send to Z1 along with my ecu for the tune. The maps are already installed in the programmer.
You're getting a generic mail in flash from Z1? I would stay away from their canned 1 size fits all tunes... A real custom tune will give you much better results.
