Yes. I bought at the performance point I wanted. I will add tint, but only out of necessity. Too hot down here in no man's land..

True. I guess it all depends how long u decide to keep the car. I don't keep it more than what the warranty is worth.

I'm totally content with my G in stock form. It's gonna be almost two years and I still love it! My only mods are tint and a Phatbox

If somebody has the time/money to invest, thats great. Modding a car only tends to personalize it, be it cosmetic or performance wise....

I think the car is a pretty nice package stock, but I did change out the lights, and would consider a new set of wheel/tires when the Pilots wear out.

I am leaving mine stock. I love it and feel that it is a sweet looking car without any mods. Tinted windows is about as far is I went. Might do the overlays but that will be it. Mine is also Silver.

I remember the day I brought the car home I thought it was sooo low and the wheels were soooo big then... I started hanging out here and the wheels aren't as big and it isn't as low as I thought it was! Damn forums!

I was perfectly happy with the car stock, and since I bought if it fully loaded it was not cheap (as you all know).

I had no intention of doing anything to it, well wash and wax it...

But I work long hours, and carry a lot on my shoulders at work. So fiddling with the car is a way of taking an hour or two here and there to take my mind of work.

25 years ago I made my living with Engine rebuilds, mods, and general auto work.
The thrill died quickly, but this is just my car, my choice....

So I wanty it to look and sound stock, but I also want the thrill of a little more punch, etc....

Old guys never die, they just buy more expensive toys....

IF iI got a G, I would leave it bone stock, maybe some tint, and clear corners, but that is it.

The car is perfect in almost every way, except for gas mileage.

My '03's pretty loaded from the factory (6MT, Prem, Nav, Spoiler) so it kinda feels "modded" already, and I'm real content to leave it at that. I'm 53 though, so maybe it's partly an age thing...

well I'm in my fifties but have alway driven sports cars and like having something just a little different. i'm installing the MD 3/8" spacer and some of Bat's 3/10 overlays to my clears and tail lights next weekend and then I about finished with the mods for now. (the only one I am still considering is the performance 10 wire kit from Gord)

Quote: modding is a waste of money. It's not like it's worth anything in the end. If you decide to sell the car or trade it in, nobody is going to give you what it's worth.

The dealer or private buyer can give a sh*t that you have a Twin Turbo in it.
its not about the money, its about enjoying you car more than you did before
