Brembo pads - favorites?
Brembo pads - favorites?
Hello all,
So I have a 2003 coupe, preparing for the next round of things to clean up the car and make it reliable, and currently looking at brake rotors and pads. So from the factory, people complained that the original pads don't last long. So I am looking at two things: a long life pad, but one that still works pretty well. I don't want a cheap pad that doesn't do well at braking, like those super cheap $20 ones you find at auto parts store. But, at the same time, although I suppose I can live with it, I would like the pads to last at least 20,000 miles. It sounds like many people said the originals only last about 10,000 miles. I don't have enough experience with these are trustworthy data, so maybe this is not really a problem. I tend to like the EBC brakes and the Powerstop setups for a daily driver. Does anyone know if these fit?

I can't seem to locate the right brembo version of these pads and rotors in the powerstop.
I will also go look at the vendors to see what is offered.

Although I appreciate the sentiment, one that I agree with, not really looking for a short answer or a generic answer. Looking for a part number as part of a recommendation for brembo pads one likes. Do you have one ?
Thanks.
Thanks.
I'm a huge fan of R1Concepts line of "OEMplus" pads for street use. I don't have the Brembos on my 2006 but I'm sure it's the same compound, quiet, clean, good daily driver stopping power, and they definitely have a long lifespan. Probably 40k or more.
Call them and ask, they have good customer service.
