how would I get to the wire? take off the dash? sorry for the questions I'm a bit dumb

Look under the dash. You see that thing to the left of the wire? That's the brake/clutch/pedals area. You should be able to just upside down from the drivers seat to see it.

Checked, couldn't find anything with my limited knowledge of wiring.

BUT

I'm wondering if the fusebox will go off of the 2004 fusebox diagram or the 2005 fusebox diagram. On the 2004, slot #88 is for the vdc/slip/abs system (10A), while on the 2005, it's for the front fog lights (15A). Should I be slotting in a 10A fuse in there or a 15A?

Put the 15 in for now and for checking the system. You can swap it out later.

there's a 15A in there right now, might try a 10A whenever I get my hands on more fuses

Anywhere, auto parts houses, online, Home Depot. All usually carry standard minis.

Also, anytime I'm at a pick-n-pull and usually grab a handful of various ones since they don't normally charge me for them
