Hey guys this is my first post here and last week I got in what I consider to be a fairly minor accident.

I was pulling out of a Rally’s and a homeless man came to my window asking for cash and since I was paying attention to him not the traffic, I pulled out too far into the street and came in contact with the passing car.

The insurance says that after it was appraised, they’ve concluded it’s a total loss. They’re offering me $6,619 minus $500 for deductible so $6,119 for the car. I paid $7k for it in March and am not sure if I should buy it back and fix it or look for something else. Based on the damage that I see I will need a new bumper, headlights, front crash beam, wheel well cover and that’s about it.

I’ll attach images and I tried to make one look as bright as I could. Sorry for the poor quality otherwise, it was 3am.
