People without clear bras experiencing bad paint chipping?
Yeah i agree. I think i will be getting a leather bra for long road trips (i drive from SD to Bay Area 2-3 times a year) and just take it off during my regular everyday driving.

i agree.i will just repaint in a couple of years.thats just me though.i am not knocking the clear bra.it just isnt for me.
Here you go, I will be the one to say it:
Most of the people with major paint chipping problems are those drivers that ride bumpers and sit next to trucks. You are basically asking for the damage. I've driven plenty of freeway miles and have never had any serious issues with chips on 4 different cars.

haha true.. trucks do spray dust.. but.. sometimes you cant help it down here in socal theres so many trucks its unavoidable.. i could have sworn i seen a whole lane with only trucks.. feels like your driving thru a damn maze haha..
My 30 months old 2003 G35C with clear bra - 1 rock chip (a big one, cracked the paint underneath the clear bra)
Fiance's 2 months old 2005 G35S without clear bra - 2.5 rock chips in 1500 miles.
I wouldn't take the chance. You can't tell clear bra from the bumper, only on a partially covered hood.
