g35 clunking/popping coming from front wheels
This problem started about a month ago and I was told by the internet and shops it was my compression rod/ control arm bushings. So i bought a kit from 1a auto and replaced ball joints lower control arms compression rods upper control arms inner and outer tie rods sway bar links and got an alignment after the car drives a lot smoother and quieter apart from popping noise. I can’t seem to pinpoint what exactly it’s coming from or what makes the noise happen but it happens quite often. It’s driving me insane i’ve replaced everything that i think it could be. Any ideas help
My go-to for troubleshooting these kind of issues is trying to reproduce the sound with the vehicle parked and the engine off.
Unlock the steering wheel, see if you can make it pop somewhere in the turn, also rock the vehicle by pushing up under the roof sash with the door open (be careful to not push on the sash itself or you can pop it loose).
