i owned the 2004 for 8 months and loved it soo much, i traded it for the 2005 last month.
i am keeping this car for as long as i can now. this car that i am talking about is the INFINITI G35 6MT COUPE. My dealership's sign outside says INFINITI. my manuals and all paperwork plus everything in the car itself says INFINITI.
IMHO and ONLY mine, i would not change a thing. i LOVE my INFINITI G35 6 MT COUPE BLK/WHEAT. i could not say enough about my INFINITI G35 6MT COUPE.
ok..ok...i think you got the hint.

I think the car deserves to be badged a Nissan. I think Nissan badged it as an Infiniti for marketing purposes only (draws more attention to Infiniti).
If you walk through the Infiniti show room the car plain doesn't fit in. The G35 is a (somewhat) luxurious sports car, not a sporty luxury car. When I think of Infiniti I think of luxury sedans, period. When I think of Nissan I think of cheap, high performance sports cars.
The G35s interior is more Nissan then Infiniti
The G35s exterior is more Nissan then Infiniti
The G35s specs are more Nissan then Infiniti
The G35 was made by Nissan, not Infiniti
Besides that, Nissan fits my personality better. I don’t want to be seen as a 25 year old driving a luxury car (after all Infiniti is supposed to be the high end cars of Nissan, NOT the sports cars).
With all that being said, I think the best all around rebadge is Nissan in the front, and the Nissan logo in the back, but NO S K Y L I N E badges. The S K Y L I N E badges attract too much attention and NO one knows the difference between a GT-R and a GT350. All Americans seem to think that EVERY S K Y L I N E is a high end, AWD, TT beast!

I do agree with your last post, SnM. The whole rebadging topic is just a beauty in the eye of the beholder thing. Its my opinion that the car should be badged an Infiniti since it actually is sold as such in the US, while others want to personalize the auto. No real need to hate people who change their vehicle to suit their tastes.
Having said that, I stick with my opinions and comments previously posted in this thread.
