this is the cars current state, the negative cable was causing a short and killed my battery in a 24 hour period and just over night, i since replaced it and it now takes 5-7 days for the battery to die IF i dont drive it, i can drive the car for 30 minutes sometimes longer without any issue but after letting it sit and trying to drive it again it will go into limp mode from low voltage and its low voltage because when i checked the battery after turning the car off it was reading 10-11 volts so im assuming the altenators not charging the battery as i drive. Ive already replaced battery altenator and starter in one go, ive thought to replace the IPDM simply because i need a new one since i got it from ebay and i need one in order for the car to pass inspection seeing as without one specific to my cars vin the wipers dont work properly. other than that the only thing i can think of causing a parsitic drain would be my cars wiring harness i have yet to take the car anywhere to be worked on since im to busy working and studying. id also like to add the car doesnt throw any codes the only thing that happens when it goes into limp mode is the vdc and slip pights come on, in addition anytime i turn the headlights on the fuse blows immediately.
