P0340 Camshaft position sensor bad again?
P0340 Camshaft position sensor bad again?
So I replaced all of my sensors last year and a few days ago my car died at a light which gave me the code P0340 for camshaft position sensor a circuit bank 1. I also ran into issues of bogging when doing a pull where it would stutter as if it was in some sort of limp mode. My concern is that I already replaced all of my crankshaft and camshaft position sensors with Hitatchi ones I got on amazon. Is it normal for one one to be broken already? I don't want to just drop more money in case something else is causing the issue.
*EDIT*
Car failed to start today after driving to grocery store, had all the dash lights on so I pulled up the codes, it's now P0340 and P0345 which i previously replaced. Two things that's are kinda suspicious is that I do have a slow dripping oil leak from my oil cooler so could be related to that? I also recently got a car wash and I'm unsure if it could've possibly damaged any wiring in the process.

From what I heard some people may reset their ECU but I previously replaced the sensors and if everything goes well, the code might go away once you start the car up. If the code is still there but theres no symptoms, you'll probably need to use an OBD scanner to clear the code.
I may have figured the issue thats causing the code. When I was examining my camshaft position sensor bank 1, I noticed the connector wasn't clicked into place with the sensor port. As much as I tried to push it in, it never "clicked". I had similar issues with bank 2's connector and I bought a new connector and swapped the wiring so it would click, which fixed the issues. So I will replace the connector for bank 1 and see if it'll work. I posted about bank 2 a year ago on the process of swapping the wiring if you need a reference to what I'm referring to.
