Hey guys, my boyfriend's car has rod knock and he was told he needs an engine swap. I was wondering if anyone knows how much an engine swap would cost for a 2004 G35 Coupe? I think he's considering that it's not worth it because he thinks its going to be around 5-6k and its just too much right now and I know how much he loves that car. Does anyone know how much it would be? and any good mechanics in GTA area?

 

There are a lot of good mechanics in the GTA area. There are places that can rebuild his engine for way under $5-6k or he can buy a jdm VQ engine for around $2-2.5 with around 60k miles.
