No injector pulse

No injector pulse

Looking for some insight. My G is giving me all kinds of problems. The other night it rained and I didn’t have the engine harness cover/plug on so water got all inside the car. Wake up the next day to the alarm going off. I come down to the car and IPDM fuse 77 kept blowing sovI traced it down to the coil pack on cyl 3 that was swollen and hot. Change out the coil pack no more fuse blowing. Now when I turn the key it just cranks. I have narrowed it down to it not getting any fuel out of the injectors. Car has spark and runs on starter fluid. I hear the fuel pump priming and when I disconnect the fuel rail under the hood it has plenty of pressure, but when I crank with the injectors out it’s bone dry I’m getting 12v to the power to them all and I checked all injectors for continuity to the ECU no codes nothing and it all checks out . Thanks in advance!! I changed the IPDM so that’s not at fault.

Have almost exact same problem as you for the last 5 days. No crank no start have spark runs on starting fluid for a second (very rough). i hear fuel pump priming and there is fuel at the damper but when i pulled spark plugs its dry.

I’m starting to think our issue is ECU related. If you look on eBay for G35 ECU Repair service it’s practically sold out. I also asked ECU Guru a seller on eBay if he had my specific ECU (06 Revup) in stock and he said he was sold out and referred me to his repair listing. I think the Injector driver in the ECU is cooked. Have you tried node testing your injectors while cranking the engine? Or checking for 12v going to the red wire on each of the injectors with key on? Also I take it your NATS light isn’t on either while cranking right?

Turns out my ECU took a crap. Just got my replacement ecu and it fired right up. To anyone else in the future that doesn’t have injector pulse it’s probably a bad ECU/ECM.
