I got this car for 600 dollars it was crashed, was going to pull motor and build but dude never gave me the title. gotta get it running perfect for the police to inspect it make sure its not stolen then i get the title. but for the life of me cant figure out where this coolant passage goes too. looked at all data does not even show thsi metal coolant passage on the passenger side. its done in paint so where the red arrows and triangles are located in the picture, if you coulld send me a part number and where it goes would be so awesome! thanks in advance.
Not sure about the DE engines but on the VQ35HR, there are 3 metal tube behind the engine, 2 of them go to the throttle bodies as heaters. They love to rust and leak so i trashed them and capped off the 3rd metal tube as who the hell needs throttle body heaters here in Florida?!
If you can't trace it, then cap it off and move on.
