Sorry to hear about the key marks. I think it pains us all to know that the G can be a victim of another's transgressions.

I had a small paint chip happen on the passenger door in a grocery store parking lot. I parked near the front, that was it.

Since then I park in the back of a parking lot, in the waaaaaay back. And I try my best to keep the G in line of sight. I guess I'm just too paranoid now.

Some a$$hole in my neighborhood decided to start keying cars an keyed my car (a soon to be turned-in S4 for a G35 Coupe 6MT) and my wifes car (BMW 3-series wagon). You never mess with a mans car and his woman.

 

same thing happened to me not too long ago , same exact scenario across the drivers side with multiple keys ripping paint from the door handle. Been through so many instances which are close to this i've learned being mad only winds you up. Realized stressing about things that i have absolutely no control over is pointless and things like this are given when we buy cars like these. Its a chance we take as jealousy is in the blood of those who dont want to work for it. Just and FYI my quote and fix was 1800 for the entire side of the car on a DG.
