I've only been to the track twice but I got in a TON of runs. My best being 13.9 @ 102mph. If you're serious about getting into 13's forget performance mods and invest in tires, power means nothing if you cant put it on the ground. I basically have the same mods you do, JWT Pop charger, Test Pipes, and nismo exhaust but I also have 285/35-19's that I was running as well, by far the tires made the biggest difference.

Also, many people say dont warm up street tires, and this may be true. But to me common sense said my tires spin more when they're cold. When I didnt warm up my tires I was consistently a tenth of a second slower or more.

If you're there for times, don't worry about the tree and your reaction time. Whether you sit there for a couple of seconds or not your 1/4 mile time will still be the same. Relax and focus on how you launch, me personally.. I seem to run better when I watch the tree, dont know why.

It may sound stupid but I honestly dont know what RPM I launch at, I go by the feel of the clutch and what I hear from the engine. I think I launch at about 2k or 2.5k and feather a little bit to get going then stomp it when I know I have traction. Judging from your speed you should be in the low 14's easily, just take some time and keep practicing.

Indeed, it used to be called a "bleach box" because chlorine bleach was once used. Now it is generally called a "water box" since bleach was abandoned quite some time ago.

Would you really want corrosive sodium hypochlorite sprayed up onto the cars/spectators behind the car?
