what does this have to do with the floorpan being diff from one another?the z is shorter than the g.the seat will have to be modified to bolt in.if you have some skills it can be done.i just dont know what niisan being cheap has to do with anything.if you cant contribute anything of value, dont bother.these forums really are going to crap.

Also, any modification you make to a seat with a car under warranty will automactically void that specific warranty. It wouldent matter if I altered the seat controls, bracket or just switched the seat..same deal, VOID.
Understood - mis-typed, I meant 'side' vice 'curtain.'

I'd be less concerned about the warranty and more concerned about the insurance coverage. You bounce your head off the window and the insurance company claims it was because you modified your SRS and you may be stroking the check instead of them.

I'm aware that the interiors are similar. You're still modifying the SRS. 'Similar' won't hold up in court. When asked if the SRS installed in the vehicle was designed for the vehicle you have to answer no. You're giving the insurance company wiggle room to shift liability to you and I'd (me personally) be very careful doing that. That's all I'm saying.

nissan shares like 90% of the parts accross different cars.

do u think they would make 100 different harness and bracket for each of their car? you'd be surprise how much parts are shared between the Z and the G. the only differences are pretty much the panels

and how is the floorpan different? the Z is shorter, it doesnt mean the space for the front seat is. the only difference is that the G can fit a rear seat.
rear seat or not, it doesnt make a difference for the front.
