Just saw a silver coupe on the freeway this afternoon on the 405 North in So Cal. He flew past me and I noticed that his calipers were bright red brembo's. Are some of the new Coupes coming with red now or was it custom? For those that are get the Brembo's with their coupe anyone got any other color besides Gold? Peace.

Are they only gold on the MT? I have a 5AT and mine are silver. I have been wondering how everyone has the gold and I don't. I thought maybe something was wrong with them.

There is nothing wrong with yours, you DONT have brembos so thats why they are not golden

Gold Brembos on 6 speed MT only. A gift for those who are hard core. I like the center arm rest on the AT tho. What's up with that sliding door thing? I'm thinking of get some cross drilled rotors. Don't need the after market red Brembos. The GT's are cool but the the gold brembos bit like a shark. I don't like the stoptech and it looks wired when your front brakes are red and your rears are silver.

i wouldnt recommend cross-drilled rotors because they tend to crack when compared to standard ventillated rotors.....performance-wise they are just about the same, also, slotted rotors offer very little in performance gain, and tend to crack as well
BUT THEY LOOK REAL NICE!!!!!

Zen,
Why you need cross-drilled rotors for a car that already has a stopping distance of 112 ft going from 60mph to 0mph? I was considering something similar, but these brakes are already the shizzznit, and the envy of everyone who doesn't have a Porsche, Ferrari, or Viper.... I would stick with them bro... They are sick.

Bigger brakes and cross-drilled/slotted rotos will NOT improve your stopping distance. It'll improve heat dissipation. Once your calipers/rotors are big enough to lock the wheels, braking distance is a matter of friction (better tires help here) and inertia (speed and mass).
