ive learned my lesson in street racing, been busted i spent a night in jail instead of paying the 1000 fine, i get hit up but i dont race them, people who try to hit me up are idiots. That guy needs to realize street racing through traffic is stupid, MAYBE a less traffic area or disclosed location i wouldnt care but cmon man, ive seen that street and those roads arent really big to cut around a lot with cars being around

 

yea street racing is a bad decision especially when the car your racing is not up to par. this guy obviously made a mistake, but it could have happened to any one of us. we have to realize he is a human being just like everyone else and i hope he recovers quickly. i mean i can bet 75% of g owners have done some type of racing and a good 25% of us have radar detectors. just remember (that one commercial)...drive slow and lose one minute of your life or...drive fast and lose your life in one minute. :/

 

Thats not what he meant, you are analyzing it way too much. I believe he meant recklessly speeding above the limit (excess or dangerous speeds).

 

QUESTION:

IS BALL RD/KNOTT ST (or whatever st it was on) A LARGE STREET OR SMALL STREET? HOW MANY LANES? CAUSE THAT JACKASS WAS GOING 90. lots of people go 90 on the freeway sometime, but i cant imagine this happening.

 

ball is a pretty major street. I want to say 3 lanes in each direction, I don't remember off hand. i was leaving my parents' house in cypress that night around 10 and wondered why all the street lights cut out for a minute or so. I guess now I know.

Over analyze? This is a message board, everyone over analyzes everything.

 

Some stretches of Ball are 2 lanes (many schools, churches, and houses are on this road) and others it is 3 lanes. I think the speed limit ranges between 25-45.

 

by my house...ball and denni, it is 2 lanes. but they're pretty wide lanes. however, i can only see someone doing 65 max on those streets. 90 is unbelievable.

 

Yea then I'd like to see who has ever gotten a ticket for that.

 

It's people like this moron that make all of our insurance rates so high on this car.

 

i'd feel bad if the guy who got in the accident came and read this thread.
