Here buddy.. whatever you do, don't get charcoal tint, especially in Cali.. get something subtle like Huper Optik 40% or 30%, or something a tad reflective that's not going to attract too much attention. That would look great on Lakeshore Slate. Make sure you ask around about a good tint shop, once you go they'll have samples you can choose from.

Tint wise? Not sure, the dealer did it, but if you're interested I can look it up for you.

Here in California, the legal limit is 70% VLT for the front psgr and drvr. However, there aren't that many film manufacturers on the market the produces film that can match the legal limit. As for the windshield, it is not allowed at all except for the top visor strip extending no further than 6"s down from the top frame of the windshield.

Llumar dealers have the 70% CA legal shade, but I've said it before and I'll say it again....it looks like your green glass but a tad darker (not noticable) but blocks 99.9% of UV rays which supposedly the darker shades only block 99%.
