plans after lease ends???
Hey guys,
I was wondering what you guys (with leases) were planning to do with your cars once your lease ends? Have you modified your car? Do you plan on taking out the parts once you return the car to the dealer? Are you just going to pay it off?
Will the dealer accept the car with modified parts such as intake/exhaust? Would it be worth taking it off and selling them to a private party?
Answers to these questions would be great.
Thanks.

You are better of taking the parts off.
You can sell them and make money, cause if the dealer does accept them (which they wont) they wont pay you anything extra for them.
They ideally want the car the same way they gave it to you, with acceptable wear and tear.
Dont even mention it to them abt modifications to the car. They can make you a scape goat by making you pay for accessive wear and tear cause by the perfomance modifications.
I have leased as well, but wont be buying the car.
Many reasons...
I like changing my cars every 2-3 yrs or so. The market is flooded with new models. The new G is expected to come around 2007, so why get stuck with an older model.
Also, I keep my cars stock, not into the performance mods. But I would install a sub or so at the most.
