Im one of those loser out there driving a 5At because I didnt pay for the car. I get so much crap for driving a 5AT that im used to it, i drove a civic sedan before i got my G, but even though its a 5AT i love every minute of it. My parents bought me the car and i asked if i could get the 6MT (My dad knew i would want it cause of the Brembos) but since i didnt pay a single penny on my car i didnt have a choice. So i guess you could call me a loser but all my friend seem to love my car even though its a auto. For this thread i dont have tint at this minute but every day i see a G with tint the more i want it.

I refuse to be called a "loser" for selecting an automatic. That is an ignorant generalization that merits no statement as a reply.

Anyone remember getting your car in High School? After having tinted windows there...I'll never go back.
Simple equation..... tinted windows + panty droping effect =

You should get a convertible if it is so important for you to be seen in your car. I LIKE the privacy tint provides, my enjoyment of my car is primarily first-hand and not second-hand through what other people are thinking of me as I drive it. My enjoyment of my girlfriend is also not diminished when we are alone and there is no one else around to see me with such a beautiful women.

besides the fact that i live in fl...i dont think the question should be why did we tint our windows, it is why wouldnt we tint our windows? personally, i think it looks 1,000x better than without any tint....it gives you some privacy from people looking into your car and such....if you want to be seen, roll with the windows down and blast your music. tints are a must though

It's funny that you ask this. When I'm driving the car and a see an attractive woman staring at the car, the one thing that comes to my mind is, "Damn, she can't see me because of my tinted windows!!!".

You are right, I don't live in Florida. I can understand the need for places like Florida, Arizona, etc.

Although Missouri summers are hot and humid.
