Try 245/40R18 Fronts|255/45R18 rear Goodyear F1 GSD3's
I scrapped the Michelin Pilot Sports due to their harsh ride and terrible road noise. I switched to the Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3's in the slightly larger sizes, and cannot believe the improvment! The Goodyear's are make my G35 coupe an unbelieveable ride.....much better ride and noise....now it is a joy to drive....no more annoying ride harshness and road noise. The wet and dry grip is right where the Michelin's were, and they are priced around $200/tire at tirerack.

I would say money no object, the new Pilot Sport 2's. They are super-expensive though. Probably the most expensive street tire you can buy.
The Goodyear GSD3's are a nice alternative, more reasonably priced. So are the BF Goodrich KDW-2's. I will probably go with one of these when it comes time to replace my original Pilot Sports. Although I'm at 18k now, and I've got a lot of tread left on the Pilot Sports still. The tires really only have 14k on them because the last 4k have been on my snow tires.
