Am I the only one who thinks the body shop is screwing him over? $800 is way to much to repaint one piece. Put a little bit more and you can do a whole car around here (ok, maybe double the price but still).

 

Sorry that you did that to your car.. haha but I did that to my own car right after the front bumper just got painted from a prior accident and wrapped with 3m film. I was so pissed at myself but what can ya do. I couldn't tell my parents cause i was in your situation, 18 and under their insurance. Sooo I just eventually covered it with an oem lip. I say cover yours with some splash guards and tru to touch up the rest of the damage.

 

i think some splash guards might do the trick. you can find them on the web for about $80-100. good luck.
